Class A CDL and Class B CDL Driver – Manual Transmission (Night Shift / Weekends)

We are hiring Class A CDL and Class B CDL drivers for a non-hazmat position operating 18-speed manual transmission trucks. This position requires no automatic transmission restriction on your license.

• Schedule:
  • Night shift
  • Weekend work required
  • Two rotating schedule options:
    • 6 days on / 1 day off
    • 5 days on / 2 days off
  • Drivers living outside of Washington, PA: Must commit to 6 weeks on / 4 days off
• Travel & Transportation:
  • Must have a personal vehicle to travel between the terminal, hotel, or home base in Washington, PA
• Workload:
  • 60–65+ hours per week
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours
• Compensation:
  • $26/hour starting pay for no experience with raises at 6, 9, and 12 month

Requirements:

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Class A and no tanker experience must have 12 months driving experience
• Class B with 6+ months of tanker experience will be considered
• No automatic transmission restriction
• Must be able to operate 18-speed manual trucks
• Reliable personal transportation
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended schedules if residing out of the area

 

The 7-Axle Tanker Division has two locations in Pennsylvania: Washington and Kittanning.

Company-paid lodging is available for drivers who live outside of this area.

The first part of training is held in a classroom setting in Roaring Spring, PA, and then you transfer to training on-site with trainers on the job.

Our pay package is easy to explain: it’s one sentence: $26.00 per hour + overtime after 40 hours with raises at 6, 9, and 12 months.

The work schedule is 5 days on with 2 days off, or 6 days on and 1 day off OR work 6 weeks and take 4 days off.

5 on / 2 off schedule has the same days off every week; weekdays, not weekends.

All current openings are night shift positions, most are at 1630 to 0430, and a lot of overtime is available.

Most drivers work 60-65 hours per week and earn more than $104,000 annually.
